Primary Learning Support Assistant
Location: Harlow
Salary: £85 - £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harlow is seeking a dedicated Primary Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

Responsibilities:
- Support children in their learning and development, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Provide tailored support through one-on-one or small group interventions.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to create inclusive and engaging learning opportunities.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, safe learning environment.
- Track student progress and provide valuable feedback to teaching staff.
- Encourage student independence, confidence, and engagement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role is desirable.
- Understanding of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to helping children succeed academically and emotionally.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must satisfy all safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
