Location: Grimsby
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Do you have a love for English and a passion for teaching? GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Grimsby. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and foster a lifelong love for literature and language.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature lessons.
- Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and creativity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance student learning.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and an ability to engage students in English.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
