*Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher*
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £140 - £220

A ‘good ’ primary school with ‘outstanding’ behaviour in Middlesbrough is looking to appoint a creative Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join their lively and engaging Primary School.
The headteacher would like to hear from candidates that have a real passion humanities and RE as there may be an opportinity for a TLR.
The staff at the school pride themselves on being friendly and supporting – making the school feel homely and a real community!
The main Primary Teacher duties will include:
- Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum
- Teaching and managing the behaviour of 23 pupils
- Working with a teaching assistant to implement interventions
- Planning and delivering creative and innovative lessons
- Using formative and summative assessment
- Planning and assessing phonics following the school’s chosen program
- Promoting independence with life skills
- Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate will:
- Be available for work Monday to Friday
- Hold a degree and QTS
- Have experience as a KS2 teacher (desirable not essential)
- ECT’s are welcome to apply
- Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- A full checkable work history
