Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £162.31– £223.63 per day
Availability: Immediate
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher seeking exciting new opportunities within Hull schools? We at GSL Education Hull are looking to appoint a motivated, experienced, and qualified Primary Teacher to join our affiliated, primary division with an immediate start available.
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, delivering creative, engaging, and effective lessons that inspire and nurture the development of Primary pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Key Stage 1 lessons for pupils between five to seven years of age in the leading years of primary school education (Year 1 and Year 2), tailored to the needs of all young learners.
- Provide a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children with varying abilities.
- Use a range of strategies to motivate and engage children, encouraging a love of learning.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous development.
- Maintain a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualifications, with a PGCE specialisation in Primary Education.
- Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum or equivalent settings.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to support children with various needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and Autism.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
Essential Experience In:
- Prior experience in Key Stage 1 (or a relevant role) with a proven track record.
- Demonstrable evidence of successfully improving pupil outcomes and raising standards within a classroom setting.
- Experience working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
