SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/ Long Term, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to join schools in Sheffield immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various SEN conditions and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
Your Responsibilities as a Special Educational Needs Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Employ a range of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
- Maintain open communication with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student progress and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development to enhance teaching practices.
SEN Teacher Qualification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working as an SEN Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- A passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
