Early Years Teaching Assistant (Early Years TA)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/ Long Term, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join schools in Rotherham starting immediately.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant (Early Years TA), you will work closely with the teaching team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to making a difference in young children’s educational journeys.
Responsibilities of an Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA):
- Assist in delivering engaging and creative learning experiences to young children.
- Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
- Help to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of resources.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to support children's learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Monitor and track students' progress and report observations to the teacher.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children's personal care needs if required.
EYFS TA Requirements:
- Previous experience working within an early years setting as an Early Years Teaching Assistant is desirable.
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.
- A degree in Education, Psychology or a similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
