Science and English Tutors 1:3&1:4 tutoring/intervention sessions in school
GSL Education - Lincoln
Start date – September 2025
End date – April 2026
Pay Rate - £20.00 - £35.00 per hour
GSL Education Lincolnshire Branch are looking for 1 English Tutor & 1 Science tutor to support student’s up to a 1:4 basis. The role is approximately 6 hours of work per week and tends to be one morning and one afternoon on separate days. The secondary school in Lincoln are requiring their tutors to teach student’s from Yr9 up to Yr11. This role is suitable for graduates seeking to gain tutoring/teaching experience as well as already qualified teachers. The school are keen to meet and interview suitable tutors in preparation for September 2025. There is Teaching Assistant or cover supervising work available for those who are keen to explore other roles.
Please do not apply for this role if you cannot travel to the centre of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This role isn’t suitable for online tuition.
Requirements:
- Have a relevant degree in a Maths, English or science based subject, alternatively be a qualified teacher
- If you don’t have a degree or teaching qualification then you will have to be currently studying towards a degree at university
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (we can apply for this)
- Up to date references from either work, voluntary role or education
