Location: Bridlington
Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Easter 2025

GSL Education are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join schools in Bridlington starting in September 2025. About the role:

As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students at various key stages, fostering a love for Mathematics and promoting academic excellence. You will join a team of dedicated educators who are committed to nurturing the potential of every student.

Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Maths lessons that are challenging, engaging, and aligned with the curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best teaching practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Engage in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support students’ learning and development.

Teacher of Mathematics Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong classroom management skills and enthusiasm for teaching Maths.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
