Maths Graduate – Teaching Assistant
Location: A school in Boston
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Are you a Maths Graduate looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career? GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a secondary school in Boston as a Maths Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Support students in KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group interventions to improve student progress.
- Assist the teacher with lesson planning and resource preparation.
- Help manage classroom behavior and encourage student participation.
- Work closely with students who need additional support in Maths.
Requirements:
- A degree in Maths or a related subject.
- Passion for education and a desire to become a teacher.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Previous experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering) is desirable.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
