Responsibilities of the Class Teacher role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for learning.
  • Provide tailored support to students, addressing their individual academic needs and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share innovative teaching strategies and resources, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements for the Class Teacher role:

  • QTS/PGCE or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different school environments and behaviour policies.
  • Ability to teach across various subjects and year groups.
  • Proven experience as a teacher with excellent communication skills.

  • Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
