Job Role: Maths Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £160 - £250 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until May half term, Full Time
GSL Education London Branch is looking for a Maths Teacher to join a comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This role requires a Maths Teacher who can confidently teach KS3 and KS4 Maths and is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons. Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources.
- Support students with additional learning needs.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Maths Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Commitment to professional development and improving student outcomes.
