Cover Supervisor
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £93 – £115 per day
Start Date: ASAP

What We’re Looking For:
- A comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training will be provided if necessary).
- A proactive approach to professional growth and a readiness to engage in further training opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage various classroom settings.
- A genuine passion for education and a dedication to supporting student development.
- Prior experience is favourable, but not essential – GSL Education offers training opportunities for aspiring Cover Supervisors!
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing classrooms in the absence of subject teacher.
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons while ensuring students stay focused and on task.
- Effectively managing behaviour and enforcing school policies as needed.
- Ensuring adequate support is provided to relevant students by fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.
- Creating a positive learning atmosphere that promotes student engagement and progress.
