High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Large Primary School in a West Hull Village
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for education and the skills to lead learning sessions with confidence? GSL Education is excited to be working with a large and thriving primary school in a West Hull village that is seeking a dedicated HLTA (High-Level Teaching Assistant) to join their team.
This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to support both teachers and students while taking on additional responsibilities, including leading small group sessions and delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading learning activities and delivering pre-planned lessons across different year groups
- Providing support to teachers in lesson planning and classroom management
- Working with small groups of students to support their progress and development
- Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting in assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers
- Supporting children with varying needs, ensuring every child reaches their potential

- A qualified HLTA (or an experienced Teaching Assistant working towards HLTA status)
