SEND Teacher – Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth
Salary: £145 to £230 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Are you an experienced SEND Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a difference? GSL Education is recruiting a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Wandsworth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with special educational needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with ASD, SEMH, and PMLD.
- Implement Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) effectively.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and support staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience working in an SEN setting is preferable.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Passionate about inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
- A proactive, adaptable, and resilient approach.
