SEND Teaching Assistant – Sutton
Location: Sutton
Salary: £90 to £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
GSL Education is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school in Sutton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with ASD, SEMH, and other learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering a differentiated curriculum.
- Promote student confidence and independence.
- Help students develop social and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an SEN or mainstream classroom.
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of EHCPs, behaviour management strategies, and SEND interventions.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
