SEND Teaching Assistant – Hounslow
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £90 to £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Hounslow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, and PMLD.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored interventions to meet students' unique needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Help implement Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or working with children with SEND is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to learning support.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude.
