Science Teacher – Dibden Purlieu, Hampshire

GSL Education are delighted to offer an incredible opportunity for a unique full-time Science Teacher for a secondary school in Dibden Purlieu, Hampshire. This role will start from Easter 2025 or September 2025 (dependent on notice periods). The pay rate is between £30k - £50k per year, based on experience. A permanent contract is offered after a successful probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Prepare and implement lessons, assignments, and assessments in line with the curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure an optimal learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Science Teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Science at the secondary level (either in a permanent or supply capacity).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons effectively.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Enthusiasm for supporting student development and fostering a love for Science.
- ECTs or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
