Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing
As a Classroom Support Worker (SW) in Wareham, you'll be at the heart of providing personalised support to students. Your day-to-day will involve assisting with classroom activities, promoting engagement, and ensuring the well-being of the students you support. You'll also work closely with teachers and other professionals to create and implement tailored educational plans.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Offer one-on-one support to students, helping with classroom activities and personal development.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom and school activities.
  • Implement and adapt individualised educational plans to meet the evolving needs of the students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that upholds the dignity and respect of all students.
  • Keep accurate records of the support provided and progress made and communicate regularly with other team members and family members.
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for students.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in providing educational support to students.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students' educational journeys.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development are desirable.
