Job Title: Teacher of Primary
Location: Boscombe, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience).
Start time: Easter 2025 start
Contract type: Full-time, permanent (part-time can be arranged for the right candidate)

GSL Education are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Primary to join a highly respected primary school in Boscombe, Dorset, starting from Easter. Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Primary, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in a supportive and well-resourced environment, helping to shape the academic journey of young learners. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for fostering a love of learning in primary school students and a commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of Teacher of Primary:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students.
- Set high expectations for all pupils, encouraging them to achieve and exceed their potential.
- Regularly assess students’ progress and tailor teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupils’ academic and pastoral needs.
- Contribute to the school’s overall ethos, attending meetings, participating in professional development activities, and supporting school initiatives.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements of Teacher of Primary:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) with a passion for primary education.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and primary school educational strategies.
- Significant experience as a Teacher of Primary, with a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons and achieving strong student outcomes.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for primary education.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and support their educational journey.
- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
