SEN Teacher – Maidenhead

GSL Education is looking for an SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Maidenhead. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is experienced in supporting students with special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that support students with diverse learning needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and therapists to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Use behaviour management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive classroom.
- Track student progress and implement individualised learning plans (EHCPs).
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching students with SEN, ASD, or SEMH in a school setting.
- Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills.
- A patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
