English Teacher

Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Start/End date: Temporary (April – July 2025)
Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS)

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a motivated and passionate English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Sleaford on a temporary basis from April to July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and engaging teaching environment while inspiring students through high-quality English lessons. The role is full time however part time applicants are welcomed to apply for a potential job share.

The Role:

  • Delivering KS3 and KS4 English language and Literature lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Planning and assessing work to ensure strong academic progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with the English department and school staff

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified English Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an ECT looking for classroom experience
  • A teacher who is passionate about literature and language
  • Someone with strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
