SEN Teacher
Location: Wareham
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Special Educational Needs Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons suited to the needs of SEN students.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning abilities and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals.
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support student engagement.
- Monitor student progress and provide tailored support.
- Create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
SEN Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies, including support for autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching.
