SEN Teacher
Location: Dorchester
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEN students.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning abilities and challenges.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide comprehensive student support.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster confidence, independence, and social skills in students.
Special Needs Teacher Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) as a SEN Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching techniques, including support for autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate teaching style.
