SEN Teacher
Location: Poole
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored education and ensuring students receive the guidance and support necessary to achieve their full potential.
Special Needs Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of SEN students.
- Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning abilities.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to provide holistic student support.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and social development in students.
Requirements for an SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) as an SEN Teacher.
- Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, including support for autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.
