Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Enfield, Southgate
Salary Range: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Hours: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM

GSL Education are looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join a special needs school in Enfield, Southgate. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real impact in the lives of children with ASD.
Responsibilities of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with ASD and other SEN needs.
- Assist in creating tailored learning strategies to enhance students' engagement and progress.
- Support behavioural management to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage the development of essential life skills and independence in students.
Requirements of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience in SEN or behavioural support, particularly with children with ASD.
- Ability to support students with high support needs and provide 1:1 assistance.
- Resilient, proactive, and patient personality with a passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and other staff.
- Commitment to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of children with autism.
- A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
