Geography Teacher

Contract: Full-time

Location: Spalding

Start Date: April 2025

Pay Rate: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a good, reputable school in Spalding. This full-time role, starting in April (after the Easter break), offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and deliver high-quality geography lessons. The school have a gap in the department and although are seeking to temporarily appoint for one term, it is likely the role will continue to a fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons across various year groups.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge in geography.
  • Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
