Salary: £100 – 150 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for an engaging and caring Pastoral Manager to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This full-time position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity, providing the chance to build strong relationships with students and help them thrive both academically and personally.
Responsibilities of the Pastoral Manager:
- Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students' well-being.
- Monitor and manage student behaviour, promoting a positive school culture.
- Offer guidance and intervention for students facing personal or academic challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies to support attendance, engagement, and mental health.
- Act as a trusted mentor and role model, fostering resilience and confidence in students.
Requirements of the Pastoral Manager:
- Experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or student support role (school-based experience preferred).
- A caring and proactive approach to supporting students' well-being.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
