Job Title: Supply Secondary Teacher

Salary Range: £93 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
As a Supply Secondary Teacher, you will cover classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing support to students across different subjects. Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for variety or someone eager to get started in teaching, this is a rewarding and stable opportunity.
Responsibilities for a Supply Secondary Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects according to pre-set plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning and ensure they remain on task.
- Mark work where required and provide constructive feedback.
- Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.
Requirements of a Supply Secondary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
