GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in Grimsby. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a pivotal role in the classroom, working alongside teachers to enhance learning experiences, foster student confidence, and create a vibrant and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Assist the teacher in delivering interactive lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support.
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Help with lesson prep and learning resources.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Track progress and give feedback to teachers.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive learning space.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- A passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to learning.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
