Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Duration: Easter term 2025 to January term 2026
Salary: £140 – £160 per day

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Primary Practitioner to inspire young minds and foster a positive learning environment. This is a full-time role that requires planning, lesson delivery, and active participation in staff meetings. Early Career Teachers (ECTs/NQTs), including those currently on teacher placements, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons for Primary pupils.
- Implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members.
- Engage with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on student progress.
- Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and school events.
Essential Criteria:
- Primary Teaching Qualification with PGCE and Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Team leadership skills and the ability to direct Support Assistants.
- Commitment to attending CPD and parents' evenings as required.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply (sponsorship available on conditional basis).
