Location: Bovington
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

If so, GSL Education are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker to join a school in Bovington, providing essential support to students who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with students, helping them build confidence, develop coping strategies, and engage positively with their education.
What you have to do as a Mental Health Support Worker:
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to students with mental health needs.
- Assist students in managing their emotions and developing self-regulation skills.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement personalised support plans.
- Encourage a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in one-to-one or small group settings, helping them engage with their learning.
- Promote positive mental health and well-being strategies within the school.
What we need from a Mental Health Support Worker:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with mental health challenges as a Mental Health Support Worker is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in mental health, psychology, counselling, or education are desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build trust and positive relationships with students.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
