Music Teacher
Location: Newham
Salary: £185 - £265 per day

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a Music Teacher to join a vibrant co-educational secondary school in Newham. If you are a passionate Music Teacher with a talent for inspiring students and a love for teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!
Responsibilities of a Music Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Encourage creativity and musical expression through practical and theoretical teaching.
- Prepare students for performances, concerts, and exams.
- Support students in developing their skills in singing, instruments, and composition.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to extracurricular music activities.
- Ensure lessons are in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
Requirements for a Music Teacher:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience as a Music Teacher in a UK secondary school is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of different musical styles, instruments, and composition techniques.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for music education and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
