Primary SEN Teacher

Location: Boscombe

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 annually (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

GSL Education are looking for a motivated Primary SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Boscombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational journey of children who require additional support, helping them to build confidence, develop skills, and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities of a Primary SEN Teacher:

  • Designing and delivering personalised lessons that cater to the specific learning requirements of SEN students.
  • Creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, specialists, and families to implement effective support plans.
  • Tracking student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous development.
  • Encouraging the social, emotional, and academic growth of every student under your guidance.

Requirements for a Primary SEN Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged students with SEN.
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with an Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
