Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Education Plans: Develop and implement tailored education plans for students with ASD.
- One-on-One Support: Provide dedicated support to help students understand and complete their work.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers.
- Collaborative Engagement: Participate in meetings to share insights and strategies.
- Inclusive Environment: Foster a welcoming atmosphere where all students feel valued.
- Diverse Instruction: Utilise varied techniques to cater to different learning styles.
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain comprehensive notes on student development.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working with students with ASD.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Empathy: Deep commitment to helping students with ASD, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Qualifications: Additional training in special education is advantageous but not mandatory.
