MFL Teacher

What the Role Will Involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging MFL lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Preparing students for exams and supporting their language development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices in MFL teaching.
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensuring all lessons comply with the school's curriculum and standards.

MFL Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching MFL subjects (e.g., French, Spanish, German) in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum and exam requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
