What the Role Will Involve:
- Planning and delivering engaging MFL lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
- Preparing students for exams and supporting their language development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices in MFL teaching.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ensuring all lessons comply with the school's curriculum and standards.
MFL Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching MFL subjects (e.g., French, Spanish, German) in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum and exam requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
