Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Bovington
Pay rate: £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Part-time

GSL Education are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Supply Teacher to join a well-regarded School in Bovington. This is an ideal role for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified professional looking to gain valuable experience in a variety of classrooms and year groups.

About the Role: As a Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into a dynamic and supportive environment, providing short-term cover for planned or unexpected absences. Your main duties will include delivering lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring pupils remain engaged and continue to make progress during the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to primary-aged children across various subjects and year groups.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Ensuring students stay focused and motivated to complete their work.
  • Providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Liaising with school staff to ensure a smooth handover and understanding of students' needs.
  • Promoting inclusivity, ensuring all students can succeed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in primary education is essential; flexibility across year groups is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different settings.
  • A positive, enthusiastic approach with a passion for teaching and making a difference.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff.
  • An understanding of the primary curriculum and its delivery.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
