Teaching Assistant
Location: Dibden Purlieu
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day to Day / Long Term, Full Time / Part Time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Dibden Purlieu. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students' educational journeys.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery, working directly with students, and ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. Your support will be vital in helping students progress academically and emotionally.
What we expect from a Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support the teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help students stay on track with tasks and class activities.
- Provide support in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Assist in the marking and feedback of student work.
- Foster a caring and supportive environment for students to thrive.
- Work collaboratively with staff to monitor students' progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide additional assistance to students with special learning needs when required.
Skills & Qualification for a Teaching Assistant:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or a similar field.
- CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistant or Childcare.
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to supporting students and staff.
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
- A passion for education and making a difference in students' lives.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
