Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Classroom Support Worker to join a highly regarded school in Bovington. This role is ideal for an individual who is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
About the Role:
As a Classroom Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide targeted academic and behavioural support within a classroom setting. Your role will involve assisting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their learning journey.
Responsibilities of Classroom Support Worker:
- Provide in-class support, working alongside teachers to enhance student engagement.
- Assist in differentiating lesson materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster positive behaviour management strategies, encouraging student participation and confidence.
- Support students with SEN requirements, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
- Help implement individual learning plans (ILPs), adapting resources to aid understanding.
- Encourage the development of independent learning skills, promoting academic progress.
- Supervise small groups or provide 1:1 support as required.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
- Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents and external specialists to track student progress.
What We’re Looking For: To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience as a Classroom Support Worker, Learning Support Assistant, or Teaching Assistant is desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or a willingness to obtain one).
- A solid understanding of child development, behaviour management techniques and inclusive education practices.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other learning needs is advantageous.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
