KS3/4 French Teacher – Leicester
Location: Leicester
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term/permanent
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated KS3/4 French Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Teacher of French (QTS required) who is passionate about language education and committed to delivering engaging lessons.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored support where needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm and participation.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Take part in school activities, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Experience teaching French at KS3/4 in a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on student progress.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a dynamic learning environment.
