About the role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons in RE and Citizenship at the GCSE level, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in students. You will play a vital role in encouraging academic excellence and personal growth in your classroom.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in RE and Citizenship.
  • Support students in preparing for their GCSE exams.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and resources.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching RE and Citizenship at GCSE level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for the humanities.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
