SEN Teacher
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per Annum. (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2025/April 2025
Contract: Full-Time/Permanent

About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be a key figure in supporting students to achieve their personal and academic goals. Working in a collaborative and inclusive setting, you will design and deliver bespoke lessons to meet the diverse needs of your students. The school is highly regarded for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent resources, and strong focus on staff development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver creative and effective lessons tailored to students with SEN.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
- Work alongside parents, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to develop individual education plans (IEPs).
- Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and commitment to high standards of education.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience working as an SEN Teacher or with children who have Special Educational Needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to teaching and learning.
