SEN Teacher

Location: Poole
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per Annum. (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2025/April 2025
Contract: Full-Time/Permanent

As an SEN Teacher, you will be at the heart of shaping the educational journey of children with diverse needs. Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans designed to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt teaching strategies to ensure progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student development and provide feedback.

Requirements for a SEN teacher

  • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an SEN Teacher or working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • A strong understanding of SEN teaching techniques and classroom management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in education.
