Mental Health Teaching Assistant  
Location: Bournemouth 
Contract Type: Part/Full Time 
Rates: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour(Depending on experience) 
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role: 

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with their emotional, social, and academic development. Working closely with the teaching team and pastoral staff, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students to thrive. 

Responsibilities: 

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will be: 

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support for students experiencing mental health challenges. 

  • Implementing tailored strategies to promote well-being and resilience. 

  • Supporting classroom activities to enhance learning and engagement. 

  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for students in need of emotional support. 

Requirements: 

As aMental Health Teaching Assistant,you should have: 

  • Experience working with children or young people with mental health needs (in education, healthcare, or similar settings). 

  • A genuine passion for supporting students' mental well-being. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
