Position: Teaching Assistant 

Location: Newham, Plaistow 

Hours: 8.30-3.30pm 

Contract Type: Long term and full time 

Start Date: 6th January 2025 

Pay: £90-£100 per day  (Depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to support students in a nurturing and community-focused school? GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Plaistow, Newham

Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant: 

-        Provide general classroom support and one-on-one assistance to students as needed. 

-        Assist teachers in creating engaging and interactive lesson plans. 

-        Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. 

-        Monitor and report on student progress and participation. 

Requirements for the role of Teaching Assistant: 

-        Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. 

-        Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

-        A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning. 

-        Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
