Salary: £140 to £190 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in key stages 3 and 4. Your focus will be on engaging students with literature, writing, and language, creating a stimulating classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and achieve academic excellence. You will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting lessons, assessing student progress, and ensuring that every student reaches their potential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons in English across key stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential.
- Maintain an organised, stimulating classroom environment.
- Mark and assess students' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ learning and well-being.
- Take part in school meetings and activities as required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passionate about teaching English and helping students succeed.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
