About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in supporting students within the classroom. Working closely with the teacher, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that all students, including those with additional needs, are supported and motivated. Your work will directly contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student has the chance to succeed.
Key Duties of the Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering lessons that engage and inspire students
- Provide support to students on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Help manage classroom behavior, ensuring students are focused and ready to learn
- Offer tailored support to students with varying learning needs, ensuring they access the curriculum effectively
- Track and report on student progress, providing feedback where needed
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a positive and productive learning environment
- A positive attitude with a passion for working with children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students and staff alike
- Experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable but not essential
- A patient, supportive approach to helping children with diverse needs
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.82 - £14.72
- Full-time or part-time hours to suit your availability
