Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Winton
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/Part-time
Salary Scale: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our vibrant co-educational school in Winton. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting the emotional well-being and academic progress of students across various year groups.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, your responsibilities are:
· To work closely with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement support plans.
· To provide one-on-one and group support to students experiencing emotional or mental health challenges.
· To conduct assessments to identify students' needs and monitor their progress.
· To deliver workshops and training sessions on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
· To keep regular records of student interactions and progress.
· To liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements for a Mental Health Support Worker:
· Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
· Strong understanding of mental health issues and passion for working with children and adolescents.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Relevant qualifications in mental health or counselling are desirable.
· An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
· An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
