Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students, supporting classroom activities and helping students overcome barriers to learning. Whether you're experienced in education or looking to start your career in this rewarding field, this role offers an excellent platform to develop your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students who need extra help, ensuring they can engage with lessons and complete tasks as a Learning Support Assistant.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons, materials, and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Help students with additional needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, or language barriers, to access and understand the curriculum.
- Observe and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting support to ensure continued development.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel supported, respected, and confident to participate as a Learning Support Assistant.
- Help students develop the skills they need to become more independent learners, supporting them in completing tasks on their own.
- Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment, ensuring students are engaged and on task.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3, are desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students’ development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
