Secondary Teacher
Location: Southampton
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time/Permanent
Salary Scale: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Secondary Teacher to join a vibrant school in Southampton. As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Collaboration with colleagues to create a positive learning environment is essential.
Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the preparation of reports.
- Collaborate with staff to enhance teaching strategies and improve outcomes.
- Uphold school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion.
Required Qualifications for a Secondary Teacher:
- A recognised teaching qualification in UK (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
