Secondary Teacher

Location: Eastleigh

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time.

Salary Scale: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join one of our client secondary schools in Eastleigh.  This role is ideal for someone who strives to provide an inspiring learning environment that nurtures academic growth, personal development, and strong moral values.

As a Secondary school Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching, using effective strategies to ensure all pupils achieve their academic potential. You will join a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for delivering dynamic and inclusive lessons.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Secondary curriculum.
  • Use differentiated instruction to cater to individual learning needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
  • Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and promote student welfare.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience in the secondary education sector (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for a new check.
